The Australian SKA Pathfinder (ASKAP) is being used to undertake a campaign to rapidly survey the sky in three frequency bands across its operational spectral range. The first pass of the Rapid ASKAP Continuum Survey (RACS) at 887.5 MHz in the low band has already been completed, with images, visibility datasets, and catalogues made available to the wider astronomical community through the CSIRO ASKAP Science Data Archive (CASDA). This work presents details of the second observing pass in the mid band at 1367.5 MHz, RACS-mid, and associated data release comprising images and visibility datasets covering the whole sky south of $\delta_{\text{J2000}}=+49^\circ$. This data release incorporates selective peeling to reduce artefacts around bright sources, as well as accurately modelled primary beam responses. The Stokes I images reach a median noise of 198 $\mu$Jy PSF$^{-1}$ with a declination-dependent angular resolution of 8.1–47.5 arcsec that fills a niche in the existing ecosystem of large-area astronomical surveys. We also supply Stokes V images after application of a widefield leakage correction, with a median noise of 165 $\mu$Jy PSF$^{-1}$. We find the residual leakage of Stokes I into V to be $\lesssim 0.9$–$2.4$% over the survey. This initial RACS-mid data release will be complemented by a future release comprising catalogues of the survey region. As with other RACS data releases, data products from this release will be made available through CASDA.

The views I am putting forward today are my own I and may not represent the views of other independent airlines.
Low fares are not a new feature of the Civil Aviation industry. After all, charter airlines have been providing low cost air transportation for the past three decades, and what a painful process the development of those services has been. For years scheduled airlines, backed by Government regulatory agencies, subscribed to the theory that charter services, if liberalised, could lead to the destruction of scheduled services and therefore scheduled services should be protected. In the UK, the growth of Inclusive Tour Charters to points in Europe was slowed down by capacity restrictions and by pricing policies designed to minimise diversion of traffic from scheduled services.

We present recent observation results of Sgr A* at millimeter obtained with VLBI arrays in Korea and Japan.
7 mm monitoring of Sgr A* is part of our AGN large project. The results at 7 epochs during 2013-2014, including high resolution maps, flux density and two-dimensional size measurements are presented. The source shows no significant variation in flux and structure related to the G2 encounter in 2014. According to recent MHD simulations by kawashima et al., flux and magnetic field energy can be expected to increase several years after the encounter; We will keep our monitoring in order to test this prediction.
Astrometric observations of Sgr A* were performed in 2015 at 7 and 3.5 millimeter simultaneously. Source-frequency phase referencing was applied and a combined ”core-shift” of Sgr A* and a nearby calibrator was measured. Future observations and analysis are necessary to determine the core-shift in each source.

Two experiments were conducted at the Massey University Deer Unit, New Zealand in 1990 and 1991 to evaluate the performance of lactating red deer hinds and their calves grazing conventional perennial ryegrass-based pastures, red clover or chicory. In both experiments, hind and calf performance was evaluated from 1 month post-parturition over a 2½ month summer period to weaning at 3½ months of age.
In Expt 1, hinds and calves were grazed on low (5·4 kg dry matter (DM)/hd/day), medium (10·8) or high (16·4) allowances of red clover, or on a medium allowance of a conventional ryegrass/white clover sward (9·9 DM/hd/day). In Expt 2, hinds and calves grazed equal DM allowances (12 kg DM/hd/day) of perennial ryegrass/white clover, chicory or red clover.
Red clover generally had higher organic matter digestibility (OMD) and higher total N than ryegrass/white clover, and when grazed at equal DM allowances, promoted higher voluntary food intake in the hinds, increased calf growth (430 v. 330 g/day) and increased hind liveweight change. Although decreasing the red clover allowance in Expt 1 slightly but non-significantly decreased hind voluntary food intake and decreased both calf and hind liveweight change, all low red clover values were still consistently higher than all ryegrass/white clover values (P < 0·05). In Expt 2, chicory was of higher OMD and ash content than red clover but N content was lower and similar to ryegrass/white clover. Chicory promoted lower levels of calf liveweight change than red clover but higher than ryegrass/white clover. Hind liveweight change on chicory was lower than on red clover and was similar to ryegrass/white clover. It was concluded that red clover offers potential as a special purpose forage for deer production and that further experimental work is needed with chicory.

When amosite (fibrous grunerite, Fe5·5Mg1·5Si8O22(OH)2), is heated in argon or nitrogen, physically combined water is lost up to 500–700° C. Above 500° C (static) or 700° C (dynamic), dehydroxylation occurs endothermically, giving a pyroxene as the main product. Under dynamic heating conditions, part of the hydroxyl water is lost as hydrogen, with concurrent oxidation of the iron. At about 1000° C the pyroxene is decomposed to olivine and cristobalite; at about 1100° C melting begins. In oxygen or air, physically combined water is again lost below 500–700° C. At 350–1200° C a sequence of overlapping dehydrogenation, oxygen absorption, and dehydroxylation reactions occurs, which gives rise to a broad exotherm on the d.t.a. curve. The main products (for static heating conditions) are an oxyamphibole at 350–800° C, and a spinel, hematite, a pyroxene, and X-ray amorphous material at 800–1100° C. Silica crystallizes as cristobalite at 1100–1350° C, and as tridymite at 1450° C. Most of the products in either neutral or oxidizing atmospheres are formed topotactically. The mechanisms and rates of the reactions are discussed, and the problem of determining the chemically combined water in amosite and other minerals of similar composition is considered.
The thermal decomposition of crocidolite from Koegas, South Africa

When crocidolite (fibrous riebeckite, Na2Fe3+2Fe2+2·6Mg0·4Si8O22(OH)2 approx.) is heated in argon or nitrogen at 50–400°C, uncombined water is lost. The tensile strength drops sharply at 300–400°C. At 500–600°C under static, or 570–700°C under dynamic conditions, an endothermic dehydroxylation yields an anhydride with a structure close to that of the initial material. At about 800°C, the anhydride decomposes endothermically, giving acmite, cristobalite, a spinel, and liquid. At 950–1000°C the acmite decomposes. Melting is extensive by 1050°C.
On heating crocidolite in oxygen or air, uncombined water is again lost below 400°C. At 300–450°C (static), or 400–600°C (dynamic), hydrogen ions and electrons are lost, to give an oxyamphibole, Na2Fe3+4Fe2+0·6Mg0·4Si8O24. The process is exothermic and probably occurs by proton and electron migration, as suggested by Addison et al. (1962). At 600–950°C the oxyamphibole decomposes endothermically, and most of the remaining Fe2+ is oxidized, giving acmite, hematite, cristobalite, and a spinel. The spinel has largely disappeared by about 950°C, while at 975–1000°C the acmite also decomposes and melting begins.
When crocidolite is heated in hydrogen, no change is detectable by X-rays below 530°C, when the amphibole decomposes to give mainly a pyroxene, metallic iron, cristobalite, and liquid. The same products are detectable up to at least 850°C; the proportion of metallic iron increases with temperature.
With the exception of metallic iron, all the crystalline products formed, whether under neutral, oxidizing, or reducing conditions, show varying degrees of preferred orientation. This could be explained if the reactions occur mainly by the migration of cations through relatively undisturbed oxygen frameworks.
